How to Support DXP
Here’s a few ways you can help us move towards the DXP’s vision of cross-agency, longitudinal data being used to inform policy, foster effective educational practice, and promote equity for the people of Hawai‘i.
-
Share DXP reports, dashboards, presentations, and/or events with your colleague.
One of the best ways to encourage data use to promote positive change is to get data to those who can use it. Whenever you see information put out by the DXP, please forward it on to anyone you think would be interested in it. Consider joining our mailing list to get the latest updates.
-
Share what you’ve done with data from the DXP.
We’re always excited to learn how data from the DXP has been used to inform stakeholders’ work. If you’ve used data from the DXP, either from a dashboard, report, presentation, or data request, send us an email at dxp@hawaii.edu and let us know how it helped. This will inform us on which parts of our work have been most fruitful and impactful.
We also hope to be able to highlight data-informed work taking place in Hawai‘i.
-
Conduct research/analysis on DXP priority questions.
While the DXP receives many important research and policy questions to look into, the core team working on these broader questions is relatively small. Visit our research and policy question page and if you are interested in tackling any of these questions, contact us at dxp@hawaii.edu to discuss it. We can walk you through requesting datasets through the DXP to facilitate your research/analyses.
